Our Ideal Analyst

The Quant & Tech (Q&T) division of the firm is looking to apply mathematics and computer science to financial markets.

We are building tools for the Fund and look to perform Quantitative Research to guide the Fund’s investment decisions. For 2024-2025, we’re focused on portfolio optimization, mathematically determining what percentage of the money to invest in each stock.

Alongside our work, we also run careers events, inviting recruiters who focus on Quantitative Finance or Technology, to give talks about their companies.

You don’t need to be a mathematics prodigy to succeed in this division.

What you need is a strong drive to learn and experiment. Any prior knowledge that you have in technology, mathematics, or finance is always appreciated, but it isn’t required to be a part of us. An analyst with drive can gain all three of these skills with us because they will have the curiosity and willingness to research, improve, and really enjoy the process.

We have plans for the division, but if you have Quant & Tech ideas that don’t fit our plans, you’re still more than welcome to talk to us, and we’ll see how we can accommodate you and what you’re interested in.
