Zoetis is the world’s largest producer of both vaccinations and medications for livestock and pets. Beginning life as a subsidiary and spin- out of Pfizer, 83% of Zoetis is now independent and spans 11 countries with 28 sites and almost 10,000 employees. It continues to build on Pfizer’s sixty-year history in animal treatments, with a range of successful products from antibiotics and feed additives primarily for livestock to parasite-antagonising drugs and anti-cancer agents for pets. Zoetis is also expanding within the growing field of genomics, with a wide portfolio of animal genetic products and services aiming to help manage livestock more effectively.
