Its primary subsidiaries are NextEra Energy Resources, Florida Power & Light Company, NextEra Energy Services, and NextEra Energy Transmission.

FP&L currently serves 5 million customer accounts in Florida and makes up a large component of NextEra’s work with energy providing services, alongside their national division, NextEra Energy Services.

NextEra Energy Resources are currently the largest generator of wind and solar energy in the world and are a leader in battery storage. NextEra Energy also operates eight nuclear energy power units across the United States through subsidiary companies. Under the umbrella of NextEra energy, these divisions have seen continued growth and increases in revenue year after year.
