Who are we?
Founded in 2012, The University of St Andrews Investment Society is the largest student-run investment fund on-campus. Our diverse membership is representative of St Andrews' global and multidisciplinary student-body, attracting all undergraduates and postgraduates with interest in finance, investing, or business. As a University-affiliated society, we are open to all students, regardless of previous experience or degree path.
-
The main function of the society is the running of a long-only equity fund that students entirely manage. This includes six sectors with weekly meetings as well as training programs to help those looking to go into the financial world.
-
Focusing on alternative investments such as VC & PE, this side of the society looks to bring real deal flow to the St Andrews eco-system. With student founders, student investors and angel alumni we’re in a great position to build new companies.
-
Looking to enable the integration of tech into the investment society. Here we look at providing opportunities to get hands-on experience with tech in the financial sector through hackathons, guest speakers and team projects.
-
We have an amazing collection of alumni and students, all willing to help wherever they can. Through mentorship programs, speaker events and pub nights, we want to build a lasting network of people that can help you going forward.
